100 calls/day, 3 enrollments/week, generate more and more referrals, attend more training seminars

That is what we in admissions here in Canada are expected to do... our directors (most not all) are going about as if nothing is wrong. They haven't provided us with any updates and telling us that we're to continue "selling". Bunch of blood sucking maggots. I am praying I find another job very soon so I can get out of this hell. Quitting while I have a mortgage and family to support isn't my option unless I have something else lined up.

For those of you who wonder how many calls the prospects get, it's simple math. With 250 dials expected and only 0 to 2 new leads per day, the number of dials per new lead is like 100 or more for every lead. The claim is that you call old leads, but guess what, there was only 0 to 2 new leads back then too, so they already have been dialed 6 to 10 times per day for an eternity. Also the 250 dial expectation "unless you have an interview" is punishment for lack of interviews. Might as well make it 800 dials a day unless you have an interview. That simply ensures that your performance is always substandard. And if that interview does not enroll, let's talk about your smile and yesterday's dials. You only had 232 dials... Don't fool yourself into thinking you will ever be successful, unless you are the only one feed while everyone else starves.

100 calls connected, not just dialed. we are expected to call from lead sheet but they're as cold as they get because the call center has already called them dozens of times and harassed them.

as for the enrollment, God forbid someone decides to enroll month, two or furhter down the road OR cancels ... the DOA will rip you another hole becuase they expect the student to enroll for the current month no matter what. there are Admission Reps here in Canada who will enroll anyone that walks into the campus but there are few who will make an genuine effort to provide true guidence to potential students.

I sure hope those dials are leads and not cold calls. For leads, how many times are they contacted? I've heard rumors that they end up basically getting harassed until they sign up.

Wow! Are you supposed to connect with 100 people a day, or just dial a hundred times a day? That's pretty intense! No wonder there are videos on YouTube mocking Everest admissions reps! "You must sign up and go to Everest!!!" I've been an instructor for several years, and about 75% of our students are not capable of benefiting from college-level work. They should be in community college classes doing two years of remediation in reading, writing and math, if they really want to go to college. It's very hard to teach the students if they can't even understand the text book, and they can't write a complete sentence. It's not surprising that they can't graduate or find jobs. I'm not sure what the solution is, because they are supposed to have a high school diploma to get in, right?
