Severance package?

I've managed to survive a few rounds of layoffs but I know that my time will come soon. I'm wondering if anyone who has been laid off can share any of the details of their severance package? I used the tuition voucher to attend AI online and I'd hate to waste my money (for books, supplies, and online lab fees) and effort to continue classes if I'll receive no future tuition assistance after getting laid off. Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Severance package. Employees that were laid off on Tuesday in Pittsburgh will be getting paid as an active employee until July 18th. Last pay check is July 25th. Any program you are enrolled in, they will only pay for your current class and after that you will pay out of pocket. They also will be going out severance pay on the years of service you provided to the company.

Depending on the package and the situation I have heard they offer a month's pay and possibly allow you to finish out your degree. With the situation though I don't know what is going to happen.

I wonder if more will be let go tomorrow. If it's any consolation Ed thanked you for your service in his email to everyone.

The center I know about is in Chandler, AZ. They also refer to it as Park Place.

Yeah. I felt really bad for them. They move a bunch of people over a week or two ago only to get rid of them today.

I heard it was about 80 people from the campus resources call center. I don't personally know anyone in that part of the building so I'm not sure exact numbers. We did just have the layoffs in April too...oh, and just this week they moved all the employees left over from the other location into our building so our numbers are definitely dwindling.

You work at the center? How many of you are left? I heard it was pretty bad.
