They really are despicable. I worked there in a somewhat high level position for a few years. Saw Admissions people with high school diplomas recruit students so poor they lived in their cars in the school parking lot. Many had no bus fare but in the pre Corinthian days Heald would give bus passes. CC I ended that. They hire Presdients from the retail industries saying they prefer non-academics.

It's true. Campus Presidents & RVPOs have bachelor's degrees and no experience in education or social work. All they worry about is profit. You've got people leading that don't understand how labor and emotionally intensive it is to work with this population of students...poverty stricken, under educated, depressed, PTDS, raped, molested, homeless, no transportation, no income, no housing, victims of domestic violence, drug addicts, and etc.
