Carmella is requiring all the online campuses to stay open on the company paid holiday with 50% staffing!!! Why in hell would you pay employees for the holiday and then also pay them to come to work when the company has cash flow issues!? This is the kind of management that got us into this financial situation, never mind the fact that this is typically a holiday you spend with your family doing a BBQ or parades or fireworks. Is this mandatory work day really about helping the students or cramming in more students. Packing my box tomorrow and walking out, no reason to stay if management will continue to mismanage money.

You forgot about Colorado Springs online center. Staying open on holidays with half staff has been common practice for the last couple of years. No big change there. The company is also not required to give you the day off either.
They have a better chance of seeing Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, John Hancock, and friends sign up for school on the 4th than seeing me show up on our National Holiday, recognizing our Independence. Celebrate this day with your friends and family, not by feeding what's left of this Corporation.

Do NOT quit! In many states (eg FL) it will become next to impossible to get unemployment if you do. Call in sick July 4th. Continue to work until they miss a payroll. If you were shorted in yours today (sounds like lots of folks were) contact your unemployment office and ask if that's enough to file a claim. protect yourself!
They can not legally require you to work on this day. It is company policy that all employees have it off.

Online has centers that employ 500+ people in Phoenix and Tampa they enroll for online classes. If they are open than the CSC transfer center will also be open to send over leads. Both centers enroll for Everest university and Everest college phoenix
What is the online campus? Is this for Hald or another collge. it would seem good to stay open since the deadlines are July 1.
