The Sr Analyst and the regular ones are all report monkeys. They try to give guidance and suggestion but get told keep your opinions to yourselves and just give me my data. When you have the staff in the trenches and the analysts both seeing some of the same issues but management ignores them this is were we end up with the company managed into extinction because they don't want to change their ways or learn from their mistakes.

they get up in the middle of the night to run reports that IT should be doing if they had a clue as to how to schedule jobs and actually automate processes. IT = clueless.
