Subject: Progress Update – Discussions with the Department of Education

This weekend, we’ve had many productive discussions with the Department of Education (ED) and we are progressing as planned toward our July 1 deadline of signing an operating agreement. Both CCi and ED remain committed to avoiding a sudden disruption of our school operations, and the agreement is essential to achieving that goal.

I am thankful to those of you who are working seven days a week on document production for ED, as well as those who are working around the clock to help us finalize the operating agreement. And I especially want to thank all of our campus personnel for their continued support in keeping students focused on their studies and our campuses operating during this difficult time.

I will be in touch again soon.

Jack

I was told by my RDOA that we started sending the info to he DOE when they asked for it but they gave us such an short amount of time to do so that is why we failed. And that Jack told them we were sending so much info that we crashed their servers on multiple occasions.

She wouldn't lie as this was an off the record discussion and has never keep info from me as we were counter parts before she got promoted. The VP of HD told me the same thing.

The only productive discussions that CCI and DOE are having is the orderly teachout and sales of CCI campuses. That is it plain and simple. They want to minimize the impact to students and employees. Stock under $1.00, a multitude of legal issues from AGs et al., leaves them no room. It is over. CCI's business model was acquire! Acquire! Acquire! To increase revenue through government funding. Eventually you have to deliver the product and that is education which they never did, hence the low placement, and high default rates. CCI "education" is known as sub-par in industry.

My group was told that "we (CCI) did provide the information months ago... But the DoE couldn't access the files." DoE didn't tell us so we thought we were complying. Really?! That's the best excuse we could come up with?? Please lay me off today. The day-to-day waiting is excruciating.

Of course he is saying nothing. They know who is on the list. But they want to cover their butts first.

Jack(ass) tried to play chicken with the government and lost. Plain stupidity. We do our best to get students to pass and get jobs that they can flourish in. And does Jack(ass) do his best to protect us and the students? What a lying piece of $hit!!!

What a moron!!!! Had months to provide documentation, even if the ED would have seen discrepancies. Corinthian College still would have been in a better position than this. What happened to the pillars that Corinthian Colleges stood for? They held lower personnel to these standards but could not uphold themselves. Imbeciles!!! All upper management should be held accountable for this and charges should be filed for their incompetence!!!!

Translation: After ignoring ED for months, we now spend every moment, every day, every time on ED.
