It looks like they have installed Eeva Deshon as part of the deal. Can anyone confirm this? Is there a date to finalize the deal, or is she just heading up the transition team?

No Heald campuses were profitable for 145 years. They had a two-year glitch and were then profitable again before being purchased by CCI. Why do you think CCI spent nearly $400 million to purchase them? Heald has been holding the rest of CCi up for the last 2 years which is why CCi has been reluctant to sell Heald. They have to now becasue they cannot survive.
Heald campuses have not been profitable for a long time. They were converted to for-profit and sold to CCi because the old business model wasn't sustainable.
I think she was put in the facilitate the transition. She has been credited with standardizing FA practices at Heald prior to CCI. This might be a move to satisfy the ED's worries. They might feel more comfortable to allow the sale with her at the helm.
Heald campuses have been profitable for a long time. They will probably stay open as long as the states don't hold CCI's fraudulent activities against Heald.
