LOL...hope for Heald staff. IF a new buyer comes along...they will clean HOUSE. Why would anyone buy a school ran into the ground by current management AND staff and keep those same people? It doesn't happen.
It looks like Clifford or Liberty. However, are there other big schools that need a presence on the west coast? This would make Heald a good buy for them.
That's assuming they find a buyer.
My guess is that Heald has the greatest value, and that selling Heald will produce quick cash. Sure there will be a $200M in goodwill hit, but taking a $200M non-cash hit is acceptable when you need cash so desperately.
