The bookstore is owned by Ambassador Education Solutions. It is a different company. We get paid by AMBASSADOR we do not work for CCi. Our company is located in New York. We are in the dark about everything. However, it was CCi's decision to hold students books until the have a start.
Everest is the bookstore and the bookstore is Everest. Both owned by CCI
Students can not pick up anything from the bookstore. No returns, no back orders, etc. This was done by CCI.
From what I understand from an Ambassador employee, the June students are fine and can get the books they need. They just will not be issuing books for the July students until the 14th. They are holding off a little until a determination is made.
Shipping the first day of class is no good if they are paper. The students would be a least a week without books. But hey, many students don't use the books anyway.
ECP was told books will not be shipped until July 14th, the first day of class (if there is a first day).
Everest online uses books. If the license fee is not paid, there will be no online books.
This might not really be an issue. I don't think Everest Online uses books anymore.
Well, at Heald College schools, they use an outside company located on campus to sell books. My best guess here, is the company has not been paid. No pay, no work.
pizza?
Bookstore staff in being notified not to release books. Not sure who's is making the decision but I'm sure we'll know soon.
Whose decision? Everest or the bookstore?
