ITT next to go?

"Corinthian Colleges, ITT Educational Face U.S. Government Sanctions

But Corinthian and Education Department Expect to Agree on Operating Plan Soon--

A big for-profit school warned on Wednesday that it could face restricted funding from the U.S. government, while another missed a deadline but appears close to agreeing with the Department of Education over an operating plan.

ITT Educational Services Inc. said in regulatory filings that it might be subject to heightened scrutiny and loss of federal funding because of its failure to file key financial documents."

The Government probably doesn't want to get rid of all for-profit schools. Senator Dianne Feinstein's (D-CA)husband Richard Blum is the main owner of Career Education Corporation (American Interncontinental University, etc.).
