God, we'll take anything as good news today, won't we? Okay, here goes: Not one of the students who yelled at me for CCi's issues this week actually spit at me!
We still have coffee. That's a positive.
I actually had three students out of 50 this term who received an A. And they didn't have to beg and plead for late work to get an A. They actually earned it. That's a positive.
17584: Is that really "great" news? Shouldn't it be boring, everyday news when someone trained in an in-demand field (I'm making assumptions based on an externship) gets a job?
That is great news. How about some other positive stories? There is much good taking place, but it is not always publicized.
Unlike so many in the past, hopefully it lasts longer than 30 days. The failure rate is too high in the first 12 months, so it will take 2-3 years to really measure if this is a success. Although when one is desperate for cash, like CCi, these short-term gains appear larger.
