Kforce came through for me as I start my new job Monday. Hope you all land on your feet as I did. When a door shuts and window usually opens. Looks like I will be joining my peeps from IT that already left GP and AW. InfoSec jobs are out there and paying well.

@Anonymous17856 While I dont know this IT-guy... You shouldn't lump all ONA's into the same pool and assume we all had the same skill set... I was one a ONA at one of schools basically used it as a stepping stone to better things... anyway my point is this, I Worked there making 50 something thousand a year, for a few years moved on the 74 with another company now making six figures and hopefully passing my CCIE written in the next month. The ONA's most of them were underpaid and like most employed buy this company not given the resources to do their jobs because IT was a after thought... I can remember many times speaking to someone at campus support's helpdesk or network team or sys admin's and thinking this guy isn't qualified.. based on what you posted I guess the feeling was mutual.
Don't know who this IT guy is, He ain't IT in my group! If he was a ONA, that's a far cry from being IT, that's more like fixing your Facebook wall!
Probably he was laid off, so he had to post something as he was heading out the door.
is this like faking your own death? so the fictional character of Guy in IT will no longer have to answer to his detractors?
