The Indiana Gazette? ....Seriously?
Not sure if it's the same situation/person, but the same thing happened at SFS before we were Socle. It had a very chilling effect on employees expecting to be treated fairly. Even in cases where the behavior seemed to be illegal.
CCI even had an 800 number to so called report any misconduct and after one of our staff called that number, the HR head had a one on one meeting with the staff and the person that called got laid off, supposedly that they were eliminating that position. Power of intimidation is real in this company.
I'm from a different campus so I can't call, but I can tell you why nobody is. On our campus there is a definite culture of intimidation. Even on this board there are individuals claiming to work in IT telling people that they are being monitored by management. We've all seen not only a lot of layoffs, but a lot of good people fired for trying to do the right thing. At our campus it is widely believed that management had a way to track our "confidential" employee satisfaction surveys, since several unhappy people were gone shortly after they came out. A better idea might be to advertise for ex-employees to share their stories. They have less to lose.
