At least I left with dignity.

I heard you left screaming and kicking and begged them to let you stay!

Oh, IT Security from CSC. Mr. IT guy or should I say Mr. InfoSec Analyst. This IT guy must be one of those suckers at CSC that kiss ass all day. Remember people, there is only, if I remember correctly, less than three of these Security guys at CSC and I am 100 percent sure this IT guy is located there. Only one or two can run a query like this...Stan, Gil should I go on...

Oh, and I don't doubt that whomever directed you to run the reports would love to have a chat with me. Sooo sad that you cannot help them with that. Too bad.

Anonymous17766 - I just showed you the power I have. You are my pawns in this game. I am drunk with power. All of you will feel the righteous power from disbelief in A guy in IT. Next week when all of you will be terminated for unprofessional conduct A guy in IT will drink your tears as I disable your AD accounts. There will be weeping and wails of sorrow and in that will I savor my role in this. All hail A guy in IT

Anonymous17765- I tunnel to my private VPN server. Everything after that, including the Internet connection and any DNS request, originates from my own VPN server.

It's only because I understand what can be tracked that I know how to avoid being seen on his tracking reports. The VPN is the key to this whole thing, and it is very difficult to know I'm connecting to a private VPN, since the address is not known. He'll never see the sites I visit from within the CCi network, only my VPN server, and he doesn't even know that it's a VPN. The only thing I care about that is that my VPN does not get blocked at the proxy. If my IP address to my private VPN is blocked, then I have to get another IP address, which is not so easy. I do have more than one private VPN, and the servers are located in different parts of the US, but I cannot go switching IP address. It's just too much work. It's easy for him to run reports from the log files, but I've taken steps to make sure that I go unnoticed.

Anonymous17759 - I hope you are smart enough not to use the CCI DNS servers when you are tunneling because that would too funny.

"captured on the Radius server"--but you said you don't have access to the server. Too bad. Guy in IT is a bully.

Guy in IT- You are right that I need to get through the proxy, and I cannot do anything about that. Once I get to my server, however, you cannot tell what data I am accessing, including which web sites I visit. All you see is my connection, through your RADIUS server and through your proxy in CA to my VPN server. The sites I visit only only see my VPN server. The tunnel is encrypted, so you cannot tell what's going on between me and my VPN server. Sure you can tell if there is/was an active connection and such, but you don't know my VPN IP to search.

Please pay attention to the User_Domain and User_Name and NetBios_name. BTW the IP address for record 3 is 10.42.28.161 which I then can match up to the IP addresses that are captured on the Radius server. Don't forget that tunneling only encrypts the data on the wire not the route. So if I had the his/her IP address I would have been able to tie it back to a CCI computer. Any questions?

TOR servers are easy to identify. Does CCi filter the TOR servers? I have not checked.

He can track some CCi computers, but he cannot track what I'm doing.

You're making my point for me, Guy in IT. You came to this site, bullying people by telling them you could find them and turn them in for visiting and posting to this site. Turns out that you're a fraud.

My point, A guy in IT, is that you cannot do it without more information. If I give you the information, of course you can do more. But that's not the point. You cannot track me without additional information.

He asked me to track him down so I would need one piece of information to pull him from the logs. If I run my SQL query it returns over 10000 records so how am I supposed to say this is you specific. The report that I do runs a query like this...SourceIPAddress, ComputerName, DomainUserName, DestinationIP, TimeStarted,TimeEnded.

So it turns out that Guy in IT isn't as good as he says he is or he wouldn't have to ask for your IP address. And now he admits he's powerless to do anything about it even if he had the information.

Not my role in IT and I do not have access to the servers. Plus I would never do that because I am not like that. I am bored so I thought it would be a good challenge, nothing more. That way you could feel secure or not

You have the power to filter IP addresses in and out of CCi.

I don't have the power to shut you off. If you are on the student wireless than you should now that the user name and password is the same. Student/Everest. Guess what type of server checks and logs that data? It is the RADIUS server that does. Are you backing down now?

Also I use private VPNs. Not easy for me to obtain additional IP addresses. The public ones are easy for you to identify.

If I give you the IP address, you could turn my access off. Also since I tunnel everything to the one IP address, and then my server is the only thing visible to the Internet, you would only see the one IP address. But I am not going to allow you to shut me off. Also hiding in the excess of data is part of the game.
