I was let go in February and curious to know how things are going (doing great now, by the way). They have a few small clients. Surely they can't be expecting to keep them now? They've been desperately backdating everything so it looks like Socle started in 2009 and is a separate company. I could see the nitwits in charge imagining that they're going to be immune from anything that happens to CCi. What are they saying? Are they still hanging out all day guffawing while everyone else works? LOL

You have no idea what this involves. But you'll see.
Anonymous17805- SOCLE signed the note, and it's not like your funds are separate. SOCLE dollars are not painted pretty pink...
Socle makes their own money and runs their own game. And that just irritates a lot of people here. Current clients are under contract so there's not much they can do, and I can tell you that they don't care anyway. We're getting paid and that's the bottom line.
How many students does it take to pay $110k to our guy in IT?
Not sure what you mean by 110K = how many students?
$110K a year = how many students?
If Socle is still here I will collect my ~$2390.00 paycheck after taxes on 7/11. If I am wrong I will go to another job that pays me 110K a year as a member of IT. Either way I come out a winning. Lots of jobs in OC for experienced IT people and I am just bidding my time because I can.
It has nothing to do with the privacy policy, but rather, the way the board is setup.

How did they get their posts deleted? We need page 2--this only shows the first 20 replies. Write to thelayoff.com and make a suggestion to fix this. Happens on all threads with over 20 replies.
There seem to be posts deleted here. There were a few that said things like "Socle is unrelated to CCi" and "Socle has nothing to do with the Dept of Ed actions." Obviously the posters (we know who you are) thought twice about lying blatantly, especially after they were called out. How did they get their posts deleted? I didn't know they could do that.
FYI, leadership @ SFS = Kim Dean, Dave Shuma, Michael Holmes, Vanessa Flowers, Tony Parachini, Tina Faulkner, David Stinsman, John Knost. Leadership @ Socle? Oh yeah, the exact same. The rest of the staff (well most of them) are okay. These are the lead assholes who are probably the ones posting bullshit here. Shame on them!
SOCLE signed the note. SOCLE is liable for CCi's debt, and that's not going to easily disappear.
Not an internal financial aid processing center for CCI? You will agree that SFS certainly WAS an internal financial aid processing center for CCi until 2013, correct? Until what is really just a name change, but you seem to have been told is much more. Anyway, who are the executives in charge? List the directors and managers who ran SFS in December of 2012 and tell us what the new line-up is? Same people? Same address? had to sign the agreement with ED? Fully owned and operated as a subsidiary of CCi? What the HELL do you not get? Or are you really still trying to bamboozle folks with your bullshit?
http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=245633140 Seriously, you people don't understand that your company is going away? You're still saying shit like "no CCi stuff is done in Socle"?!? How stupid can a person be?
It's all very funny to y'all, but those of us who still work here are just now catching on. We've been told none of the CCi news has anything to do with us or our jobs. It sucks to be us. I hope the asshole managers here rot in hell!
yeah... what 17668 said...
Socle business model is set only on administrating not selling education or running campuses. So we are providing a service to colleges and nothing more. The only part of CCI that Socle relies upon is money. Anonymous17660 why should anyone investigate Socle and it is not an internal FA processing center for CCI? No CCI stuff is done in Socle, I know because of how CampusVue is set up and configured in Socle.
17682 - Trust me, whatever you've experienced at CCi is NOTHING next to the shit that goes on at "Socle." They are the biggest bunch of dumb-assed barnyard critters that I have ever worked for! Blatantly lying about who owns them is NOTHING!
But the company ordered checks that say "SOCLE!" How could this SOCLE possibly have anything whatsoever to do with CCi. CCi would never deceive me!!! NEVER!!!

Previous post listed two websites - they kinda ran together.
So there it is. Shame on you 17654 for your blatant lie! You are the very worst of CCi and what caused this whole mess! You and the rest of your imbecilic chortling herd!
Socle is a Delaware corporation formed in September 2012 and registered in California in February 2013. https://delecorp.delaware.gov/tin/controller http://kepler.sos.ca.gov/
If SOCLE has nothing to do with CCi, why did SOCLE sign the so-called "second amendment?" http://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/1066134/000110465914049394/a14-16284_1ex10d1.htm
17654 - would you care to tell us your position with "Socle"? Why would you say that it has nothing to do with CCi?
It IS odd. I thought Socle was CCI also. Looking them up there is no information on ownership or incorporation and their address is CCi's corporate address. There's a game afoot here people.
SOCLE is 100% owned and operated by CCi.
If there are any financial reporters reading this site, you need to get on this story. CCi is going to try to hide assets in "Socle" which is another name for their internal financial aid processing center. This needs to be investigated and tracked.
My paycheck reflects that CCI stopped signing my checks on 01/2013 SOCLE now pays my check.
Socle is owned by CCi. When was it formed again? A lot of people are curious.
They'll try to sell Socle like they're doing with Heald, but I can't see anyway wanting to take on the regulatory risk for so few clients. It'll probably be dissolved and sold off for assets.
SOCLE is a different entity and has nothing to do with CCI
But the other colleges are going to be catching on about Socle and their true history. There'll be people on this board who make sure that they do. ED isn't happy with CCi in general, and has had lots of whistleblowers whispering in their ears about SFS. No way this ends well for Socle, especially with all the creditors that CCi is going to have.
Well Socle has a 10k client for FA going live on Monday. Grace Divinity is on-board and doing well. We just signed another client in Texas yesterday or Tuesday. BTW the DoE has nothing to do with Socle because we only administrate.
What is being spread around as management directed rumors and what I believe are two different things. We're basically being kept in the dark like everyone else and psychologically manipulated to keep us dutifully toiling away. Same old, same old CCi bullcrap.
God, the directors are a jolly lot, aren't they? Ha ha!
"They've been desperately backdating everything..." Not CCi. They would never do that!
