Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Call center?

So what happens to the call centers in santa ana and Colorado? Serious opinions or thoughts please. Cci still needs marketing to new students for the 85 campuses right?

"but 17991 is just garbage that he keeps copying and pasting all over the place. Nothing new, just spouting out the same worthless garbage," No, just stating uncomfortable facts. If you choose not to accept it, that's your choice. Comprehension of reality has never been a CCI strong suit. But that's ok, you are all gonna be gone soon enough. Maybe you should have planned for this?

Drawdown-1.The act, process, or result of depleting.

Remember, the agreement gives a MAXIMUM of 6 months. That is why the drawdown is immediate. Unlike CCI, the gov't wants to prevent as many students as possible from attending CCI. The short time frame is in place to that end, along with a "mechanism." Also, the $35 million will last about two weeks. Layoffs are now a economic certainty, the money isn't there any more.

The sentence "ED has also provided for an immediate drawdown of Title IV funds for currently enrolled students" seems to be extremely poorly written. It sounds like currently enrolled students need a "drawdown" of financial aid. Of course, I don't think CCI has a very good history of appropriately responding to student needs.

18009- We not you, but 17991 is just garbage that he keeps copying and pasting all over the place. Nothing new, just spouting out the same worthless garbage, like much of CCi. Call center is a big unknown, but I'd expect a big cut.

I don't think that's what a drawdown means. It's why he stated "provided" I believe it means releasing of funds so they can continue to go to school

Per Jack:

"ED has also provided for an immediate drawdown of Title IV funds for currently enrolled students" Translation: If they want financial aid, ED suggests they transfer to another school.

"A mechanism for continued funding during the transition of our schools to qualified buyers" A "mechanism"= JUST enough money to pay your creditors and utilities and skeleton staff. I expect a VERY large layoff announced next week.
