Skype billing 'issues' were to be resolved by midweek. Guess they missed the deadline since crickets from dr. Nancy v. and another non-payment email today. If following the Everest Online Late Work Policy, they can resolve the issue up to 9 weeks past nancy's stated resolution time with a nominal penalty. In the meantime, you can use your own personal phones for calls and texts. Or sign up for google voice. Regardless of method, don't forget to enter in talisma. Yup, and you can go kiss my ass. Yeah, I just check my mail and Skype informed me that the check bounced. Whoever is the last out of the building, please cut the lights......
Since schools will be for sale and in teach-out status, will Skype and Talisma outreach attempts be over? Especially since they can't pay their Skype bill?
Probably adjuncts since they are cheaper and are contracted - no strings attached to letting them go. The PLs only did two classes per term and micromanaged faculty anyway. Everest has not much use for PLs now.
But who will be doing the instructing, the full time instructors/PLs or strictly adjuncts?
Yes, even "teach-out" campuses will be running classes to allow the students to finish.
