In the news articles during that time the stated that the company wanted "to go a different direction" and Peter didn't agree, he was let go by the Board......looks like their "direction" was not the right choice! I would guess Peter is laughing right now!

Things were great with Peter and Matt at the helm
Jack's hair was a dead giveaway
I remember Peter Waller and Matt Ouimet. Both seemed like ethical people. Too bad the rest of those hosers at Santa Anus learned nothing from them.
They took "go a different direction" way too far. It was like they wanted to go in the OPPOSITE direction. So they totally ignored education (and regulations) and hired aggressive managers with no ed experience. Then they started converting a lot of our operations to sweatshop style, high-stress call centers. Being in Admissions was more like being a used car dealer in a third-world country than working for a college!
I've wondered the same thing. I always liked Peter Waller and, besides his views on ATB, I always liked his vision for the company. He focused a lot on faculty. Seems like the place started going doing right after he left.
