Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Day one - Will Texas A&M alumni succeed at bringing Socle down?

He is going to contact all the Socle clients and let them know they are owned by CCI in the hopes of them cancelling their contracts with Socle. Is he on a mission from God? Will he be able to save America from the curse of CCI? Will he continue to masturbate to his fantasy of bringing Socle down? Does anyone really give a crap? Am I getting under his skin?

Day Two! Any calls yet, or is it still brewing behind the scenes?

Anonymous 19742: Good for you! Really, now is the time to think about how you can cut back. You may be laid off tomorrow (seriosuly, CCi could declare bankruptcy soon) or it might be a month from now. Two things you NEED to be doing. Cut out all unnecessary expenses (do you have both a land line & cell, do you have an expensive cell package, do you really need more than basic cable, buy only what you need and buy cheap and in bulk, etc, etc). Also you need to be sending out resumes EVERY EVENING. Make sure yours has no typos and spend time to tailor your resume and cover letter for each job (yes, tailor your resume for EACH job). Don't wait! Good luck!

Day one of soon-to-be-laid-off Socle worker trying to save money: Well, I just arrived home and found a great Domino's flyer on my door. Cheaper than cooking from scratch, so my meals for the next three-four days will be 5 extra large cheese pizzas (pepperoni cost extra). Please join me tomorrow as I continue to recount my adventures as an almost unemployed person.

I've been thinking the same thing. Maybe Socle worker is just a troll who doesn't work for CCi at all. It seems like he/she is also "IT Guy" who was trolling here for a while. Socle worker seems hell bent on antagonizing everyone to the point that they bring Socle down, which doesn't make sense if he/she is on their payroll. Socle worker - what's up with that, yo?

socle worker, let's hear it from you. we know cci is a bad, bad word right now and if peeps found out they were in bed with cci they might get freaked out. you've said that you guys told the clients who you are but you haven't actually came out and said that you told them you were cci that I've seen. can you just say, real simple and clear, that the clients know that socle is cci? if not, what were you trying to hide from them, and why are you taunting people getting them to start making calls and emails and stuff? do you hate socle and want them to go down?

Anonymous 19695: I'm glad you're not from Texas (writing from Dallas here), cuz you are one mean S.O.B.! Everything's going to shit anyway, might as well make sure the Socle bastards don't wiggle out from under this. I'm with you! I'll put together an email and send some off over the weekend. It'll be something to do besides sulk. Socle worker puts up a good front, but I can sense fear. Why would they be afraid if they were as upfront with their clients as they claim? Well, we shall see. To War! Onward!

A Socle worker: You crazy little cracker! I ATTENDED A&M. I'm not FROM Texas. And I can guarantee I walk the walk. I've got a "use it or lose it" situation coming up with my PTO. I'll be taking Friday off, but considering it a work day. I'm going for 100 recipients at each college: executives, administration, faculty, and student leaders. Let's get a good buzz going, shall we? And that's before the press, including the national press. After the Silver Spring debacle reported yesterday on ABC News, everyone will want to jump in! Sound bites from colleges who had no idea they were contracting with evil CCI will be perfect!

An alumnus (masculine, plural alumni) or alumna (feminine, plural alumnae) is a former student or pupil of a school, college, or university. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alumnus

It's pretty easy to write up an email with all the necessary posts (what, maybe 15 minutes?) and then another couple of hours to look up a couple dozen emails at each college and send them the email. Maybe another hour to send it to the relevant press in the different towns/cities where the colleges are located. It's not like he has to go to much trouble to pretty much assure that the clients know that Socle is CCI and to be up to speed on CCI's troubles. Seriously, why are you taunting him?

Nope, just calling him out. Most Texans are nothing but blowhards anyway.

I'm pretty sure he is the one getting under your skin, Socle. You might not want to provoke this guy any more. It sounds like he has a real life post-CCI and probably wouldn't put that much effort into contacting the colleges, press, etc. If you piss him off, the chances of him contacting someone who makes noise about you increases. Non-profits have faculty who get very involved in anything and everything and like to make lots of noise. They also have plenty of time on their hands to read emails and look into Socle. Trust me, I know. My husband is a public U professor.

Soon enough, as in when CCi files bankruptcy.
