Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Most Socle workers in Cali are in IT, sort of. Not the part of IT that would have anything to do with monitoring workers' computers (as if, with everything else going on!). Anyway, Socle worker may very well be a BA. Kind of counts as IT, but not going to make $110K anytime soon!!

Anonymous19691: You are correct. He was the one telling people they were being monitored. He did not post his paycheck before. However, he did previously post a snippet of an SCCM report. Interestingly enough, that report was posted to the same site as his paycheck.

Socle worker: The fact that you are paid what you are and have nothing better to do than post on this site is the reason CCI is in this situation. Overpaid leadership that does nothing all day while people who did the best they could lose their jobs. How about you spend half the time you put in your posts and do whatever it is Socle (CCI) is paying you to do.

Socle worker: a word of advice. If you plan on putting "Socle" instead of "CCI" on your resume, you need to avoid places like LinkedIn. Or at least don't put your new company on it. Someone WILL call them and let them know that you actually worked for CCI, and that Socle wasn't even founded until 2013. You will have lied if you said you worked for "Socle" prior to 2013. That will probably be both motivation enough and legal justification for you to be let go.

That's not very good for SoCal. You probably shouldn't have told us where you live. And unless you are pure IT, you won't move on to brighter pastures. EVERYONE in OC knows all about CCI at this point. It's not going to be an asset on your resume. If you're a coder, you'll be fine since you weren't in operations.

Nope, I work in the CSC in California and I can make more. Average salary for what I do is 110k+. If Socle goes down I can and will move on to bigger and brighter pastures. I was born in Florida.
