2-week notice

if you found a job right now, would you put in your two-week notice or take vacation/sick days and then dip?

I think at some point, this won't matter. There will be an exodus. When I taught out. The campus president disappeared after 2 weeks and the dean suddenly couldn't be there either. Don't be surprised if there is no one to resign to.

Everest adjunct gets no benefits. It's a part time temporary job.

Considering the company is very, very unlikely to still be around the next time I look for work, screw them. If I thought they'd be there to tell a future employer that I quit without notice, I might think twice. I'm close to an offer now and will tell the new employer I need two weeks, which looks good. Then adios CCi and a nice short vacation for me!

Do Everest adjunct faculty get sick days and vacation days? How do we apply for these?

After the games they have played with us the administration deserves nothing, so I take vacation and let them piss off. The only exception to that is to take care of the students somehow in the process.

i'd definitely use up my vacation and sick time and not give them the courtesy of a notice.
