Just doing my pre-interview research and found all this about CCi. They are interviewing me for a position at their Bremerton, WA Everest campus, and now I'm wondering if there will be a campus to work at? Very puzzling...

Okay, had my interview and they were very up-front and honest about the selling of the school (The current vague info from CCI says in January, btw). The Bremerton campus specifically has a good reputation with the local medical businesses (I called around and asked!), and they have verified job placement higher than the requirement. I also spoke candidly outside with some of the students and they were concerned (and rightly so!), but not negative about it.
They were honestly quite perturbed that their school's reputation is being dragged through the mud because of the actions of scummy people in other states.
Actually, it's to be their Librarian. I have gobs of experience, but none as a supervisor/manager and had hoped this would be my break.
And I say again, I am currently UNEMPLOYED. My only work at this time is packing up our dream house so we can move out because of lack of income!
If my interviewer stonewalls me or lies, you can bet I'll call him on it before I walk out.
recruited in Bremerton- You must be talking about the Career Services director position. Really a director at CCi is nothing more than some RVP's lackey. Seriously there is little, if any, management experience to be had there. If you really want the job, tell them you know how to take and follow orders. Also Career Services is not the best area right now.

Your bat shit crazy if you leave a job for the bremerton campus. Google cci see what's there if you are in doubt from reading this board. The company is in deep trouble.
Until July 8th when the news hit the papers here, the only bad thing I had heard about CCI was that some branches in California, Florida, and DC area were being investigated. I am unemployed right now and at least this job, however short, could give me some management level experience.
You'd better believe that I will be asking my interviewer some very pointed questions about all this!

Don't listen to the morons telling you that any campus is fine...all of them are to be sold and purged of staff. Stay away.

I think it's safe enough to take a job, but would hesitate to think of a career at a CCI school. The company is pretty well toast, but some schools will be purchased by another company and will be ok.
Seriously, it's a big risk. Some of the campuses do a great job, but the company is still in a serious pickle. There aren't a lot of buyers for proprietary schools right now as the whole industry has been contracting. Go ahead to the interview and take the job if you really need it. If it goes under, at least you'll have unemployment. If you're currently employed you really might want to pass on CCi.
"Bremerton is fine and you will be fine." .....New owners will clean house of all the cool aid drinkers, and screw ups. They will bring in their own people.
Bremerton is fine and you will be fine. They are up for sale but they will be okay regardless of the sale because they have students that come first.
Be afraid. Be VERY afraid! Get out while you still can!!
IF you interview tomorrow at a CCI school, your an idiot. The ONLY good CCI schools are the Heald brand.
