I hope they get rid of our campus DOA. He is a sexist, abusive pig and he needs to go.
20080 - that makes a lot of sense. They're paid to be the equivalent of two directors, why not just give them two directorrs' jobs and let them demonstrate their brilliance?
Nothing really new... Haven't noticed anyone else leaving.. DOA harassing people as normal about enrollments... We got training on the new disclosure which was basically to slide it in with the enrollment paperwork and hope no one reads it and just signs it... It's ridiculous... Everyone is acting like the dept. Of Ed. Jumped the gun on this decision and we haven't done anything wrong.. Normal cci bs..
Maybe they should get rid of all the directors and let the regionals support all the campuses left. Then maybe they will have to work and understand what it is like.
Our regional thinks it is ok to micromanage everything remotely. He makes the salaried employees work a minimum of 9 hours a day, Saturdays,and etc. He also calls the campus randomly to check on those scheduled to be there. I am sure he is comfy with his kids and wife when he makes these calls.
Typical CCI to not lay off the useless regionals. Seriously, when they visit do they do anything? Anything at all?
Good news, some of the people that were laid off are finally starting to get jobs.
Our campus is getting visits daily from a regional. Hum... are they trying to justify their own positions and travel to campuses that they rarely visited.
There was a post yesterday by someone applying for career services at Bremerton (probably won't now). Is the 4th floor throwing the CS folks under the bus and pretending they didn't know what was going on? I was in CS and that is BS.

Business as usual for online. Got an email saying they are trying to fund and restore skype by next week but will let us know. Why are they wasting $ on Skype when it should be used for better things...aka payroll.

Class of new hires (student services) started on Monday and visits from the new online career services VP and Keith B. They have been here for 2 days now but meetings with reps are today. It's probably all the same news.
