201394: okay, so Socle isn't Corinthian Colleges? Or is it that Texas A&M isn't a client of Socle? Please tell me that one of those statements is true! I don't know what SEC filings have to do with it.

Dear 20368,

Please know that your best source for the truth is the SEC 8-K filings which you can find on CCi's investor page or the SEC website.

What you get here is speculation, rumors, and opinions. And sadly, only about 1/3 of the posts are made by actual CCi employees. All other posts are from trolls trying to stir stuff up, or people not affiliated with CCi pretending they are an employee...but those of us that are can see in their vague or misinformed statements that they are not.

Hope this helps.

20351: Same CDR processes/techniques, so yes to the first question. We are told that our clients know we are CCI, but forbidden to say we are, so you figure it out. Texas A&M is a CDR (default management) client. They recently signed their contract.

Socle worker: I heard a lot of your clients are Cohort Default Rate services clients. Are you still engaged in the shady practices that led to all of the articles? Example: http://higheredwatch.newamerica.net/blogposts/2012/the_real_story_behind_corinthian_colleges_plummeting_default_rates-72503 I also heard that your clients don't know that Socle is CCi. Is that true? And that one of them is Texas A&M? (which I do NOT believe, I think that's a rumor designed to make you guys think this Socle scam is working - Texas A&M, no way!)

I'm assuming 20339 is being facetious but you would be surprised at how many people here honestly feel that way. They apparently have no issue believing that by simply changing our name we are now unrelated to CCi and have none of their worries. Suddenly we went from working for a financially troubled company to having lots of cash, no regulatory oversight, and tons of clients lined up. We keep getting told that we got in at the ground level and Socle is going to be HUGE! The lowliest AA will be a multi-millionaire! I swear, this shit would make Bernie Madoff blush!

No, no, no, no, no, no, no! (fingers in ears) I won't hear it! I won't hear it! Socle is GOLDEN! GOLDEN, I tell you! Why would they lie to me?!?

Anonymous 20320: I think that's the point of the OP. There are so many people on here believing that in 6 months Jack will change the company name and everything will be back to normal, OR Socle and/or some new marketing company will continue on and save the CSC employees, OR whatever the pipe dream of the day is. That is NOT the trajectory this company is on. Bankruptcy is. Some schools may be sold (it's doubtful that it will be many), then it's dissolution.

I love how the postings that predict bankruptcy demonstrate that the person(s) making the postings know(s) little to nothing about bankruptcy.

All it takes is a Bankruptcy filing - good bye class action....and CCI knows it

I want to be part of a class action lawsuit based on the abuse I suffered as an employee. Anyone know of a law firm that's starting one of those? I know I won't end up getting anything, but I'll be part of piling it on until they scream "Uncle!"

Anonymous 20288: I'm glad you're not ashamed and chances are you did nothing wrong personally. You still need to be prepared for a tough job search. I quit 6 months ago and had a job waiting. After almost 15 years in financial aid, I got call backs for every resume I sent out and had my pick. These recent troubles have been massively publicized, though. You may need to go outside your field. Certainly the non-profits will be extremely hesitant to have anything to do with you. From friends at other major chains (including CEC who is very close to where you are), I've been hearing that CCi folks are considered damaged goods.

It's weird to me that people continue to puts as if CCI has a future. It will cease to exist in 6 months' time.

I work for SOCLE and not ashamed to say CCi on an application. I know more about compliance and family regulations than the moron that keeps bashing SOCLE could ever retain. Stop b as shiny SOCLE until you know what is the truth of it.

Still, as we see this playing out, it's harder and harder for the ostriches to keep their heads in the sand. One way or another, this company is going to be dissolved. I have no doubt that the various lawyers will make out a lot better than the students and creditors, but the ones who definitely will not make out are the employees and stockholders. The ones that I will work hard to make sure don't land on their feet are the managers. This is going to follow them for a long time. they can say they worked for "Socle" or otherwise try to avoid accountability, they can pretend that they were not decision-makers, but we'll be there. Making sure their new employers are aware that they applied fraudulently and what they have previously demonstrated their characters and standards to be.

Those things are dragged out for years and years and years. The only people who make any money in the end are the attorneys. Students will get a tiny piece of the pue once hundreds of thousands of them have to divide half a mill. This is not unexpected, but CCI will cease to exist before anything is settled.
