Yeah, of course there's a difference between slavery and having a job with no benefits, dumbass! The thing is, we were all in positions of looking for a new job. Most had jobs at the time but were looking for something better, or maybe needed to move to follow a spouse. We carefully weighed the pay and bennies and made our choice based on an assumption of good faith. CCi has ruined that good faith by changing the benefits, often removing them retroactively! That is not okay, even if it's legal (only in some places like Florida - not legal everywhere).

OMG those evil criminal Republicans... I hope one day you'll learn the difference between slavery and vacation

You don't seem to understand vacation. It is a part of your compensation, not a "bonus." At least in my state it is, but then again my state isn't run by criminal Republicans looking to create a slave state for workers.

People are aware they won't exist in 6 months? We are all just hanging on until then.

Accrued vacation "on the books" has already been eliminated for those at the higher levels of the company. I predict the same will be done for all.
