Looks like some folks here were educated by Everest. First of all, no one here can be held responsible for "slander." Slander is a SPOKEN, UNTRUE statement which defames another AND causes damages to that person. However, LIBEL may be possible which holds the same definition as slander except that libel refers to written statements which are untrue. The key here is that the statements must be UNTRUE. Also, if you qualify your statement as strictly your opinion, then you cannot be held responsible for libel since you're not passing your statement off as fact. Lastly, the truth is an affirmative defense against any claim for libel (or slander), so if your manager really was terrible then they would have no claim against you for you saying so. Hope this helps.

I don't know what rules this site has, but there are laws against slander. So if you post rumors, lies, or exaggeration a, the person you slandered by law can get your IP address. You can't just say whatever you want about anybody. That's the law.
I you commit libel and/or slander, they may be able to track you down. I'd be very careful what you post. Not everything is anonymous . . .and btw, if you are posting from a CCI computer, they can track that from the back end.
