No. Not likely. CCI is broke. They can't afford toner. How will they afford Jack's salary, toner, and severance for thousands of employees?
27332 - I have seen that exact scenario play out at another company. Those let go early got nice packages. Those at the end had to supply their own box to pack personal items. This is definately a parade that you want to be at the front of - if, in fact, there is even any money for severance for the early victims.
Tooth fairy, Easter bunny, Santa Claus, CCI severance.......
It probably depends on when you make the cut for layoffs. The later you're laid off, the less likely they'll have any money. But that's a guess.
Only leadership can answer that question. Someone on this board posted that when they announced the 12 teach out schools, they offered severance to some employees. Then, it was rescinded. I don't know how true this was, but maybe somebody at one of the schools can confirm or deny this.
Very doubtful.
