VSO sent to engineering on 8/11/14. Based on the patterns of the previous layoffs, this one could be Aug 28 or Sept 4. Anybody have any insight?

Hoping your rumor is better than my rumor. At least I would get an extra week of pay. I'm thinking the ax is going to fall on the 28th. To those who took the VSO, I wish you all well, and it has been my privilege to work with you! Good luck everyone!
Sept 4th - First Wave 2nd Wave - January
Aug 28 is at the end of a pay period.
Off-boarding begins Aug 21,22. Not occupation! Geeze!
Much quicker. You have until Aug 18th to submit your request, then occupation starts Aug 21 and 22nd. I suspect the layoff to be on Sept 4th. (It was on the 5th, a Thursday last year)
No insights here, but they do seem to be moving quicker this time.
