I am a Xerox employee and can affirm to you that this is not a very savory company. We have terrible support, management is chosen on longevity not on merit or experience resulting in management which consists of unprofessional people who do not actually know how to manage, most of which do not even understand the VERY basic relationship between leaders and followers. The company is quite sneaky and although I have not personally seen this type of underhanded behavior in my location, I must admit I am not the least bit surprised by it.
If you look back about a decade ago, Xerox almost went under due to gross mismanagement, this has not changed much at all even after re-organizing. Some of the most basic principles of successful businesses are non-existent in this company and it is very surprising that we are so large with annual revenues of 22.4 billion dollars (2012) and still do not understand the basics of operating an organization and this will be our downfall.
