Is that is better to tell the potential buyers that to alieviate concerns about taking over the campuses. Not that I think it is right but cci feels that if the blame is put on the instructors publicly for high attrition, low grad rates and low placement and not the systematic failures of marketing and admission process that a buyer will feel more comfortable with the purchase as buyers have an easier time just replacing falculty than implementing a whole new admission and recruiting structure. Potential buyers want to do as little as possible to change entire practices as crazy that may sound it is true. CCI would love to still provide marketing, call center and FA (through socle) services to these newly rebranded schools after the sell off and rebrand themselves. Don't worry. The good instructors are/will be gone soon. Best of luck to the buyers if coco manages to find some (I find that difficult to imagine). Word is out about this unethical train wreck

The problem is that there have been some attempts by companies outside of the industry to purchase and operate career colleges, but they have generally been unsuccessful. The only real potential buyers are other career college companies looking to expand (don't know why they would when enrollment is contracting everywhere). They know how things work and have had "refugees" from CCi move to their companies. They have the inside dope. I know, I'm at a competitor now and in a regional position. There are other ex-CCi folks here, too, and of course we give everyone the scoop on CCi's ways.
Other people are dumb. That's why they enroll in 40k dollar associates degree classes from nationally accredited online schools. Sad but true. Marketing and sales is predicated on pulling the strings of stupidity. Ever seen an advertisement for free this and free that? People never get anything for free yet still they buy. We've all done it. CCI is no different than any other huge corporation. they will get away with what they can for as long as they can to make $$$ no matter what. It's just how things are. The conversations I've heard, emails that I've read and the suggestions that are thrown around this place is part despicable and part genius. The upper brass aren't really concerned for the most part regarding the final outcome of what is to transpire. Your just going to have to trust me on this.
