The grand finale was the "students in the lions' den" arena spectacle. And the crowd would go wild!
Canceling Parthenon probably saved 50 or so jobs in and of itself. At least for a few months. I've been to that shindig. There's a reason we have columns as our logo and call it Parthenon - those parties would shame Nero.
i assumed it was because the company probably shouldn't treat 1200 people to filet mignon and prawns for 3 days plus accomodations and airfare for 600 while going broke.
Who gives a crap about that now?
