And if they file bankruptcy, immediate closure because we can no longer fet federal FA funding. We are at the end stage of this company. Period. It doesn't matter what the stocks are. It doesn't matter what managers say. There's no rebranding.

In some places (most notably CSC and Socle) employees are being told that these troubles only affect schools, not the centralized functions. Employees are actually being flat out told that they are in no danger of losing their jobs. Of course it's a lie and all assets will eventually be liquidated. The only thing that might survive is CCi Canada. People can be very naive, though.
Too many people have a false sense of security and hope... They trusted their superiors. Sadly the superiors don't care.
I think, (and this is speaking as an employee for ECPO) it's because higherups, specifically PDs and other admins, are acting like we will sell and keep our jobs and everything will be fine. I attended a meeting recently where an employee asked for an update on all this selling or closing business, and the response from admin was that we will sell, and that we have multiple interested buyers, but that we don't know who. Nothing beyond that. So it gives us all hope, which may very well be false hope.
I am constantly surprised by the lack of insight to,CCI's fate, especially given that they've publicly announced a sale or closure. I think people are hoping we will sell and their salaries and bennies will stay. They won't. We will be employees of a different company, if they keep us on. And they won't. They'll dump dead weight and offer everyone lower salaries. The beginning of the end has passed. This is the end.
