I post again with my woeful tale some of u refer to as pathetic. This isn't for u naysayers it's to mr Fitzgerald. We hoped u came in at the perfect time to make Everest appealing to sell. What's happening??? Should I quit n leave my students who I love down or should I stay. My children need my salary as does my car payment mortgage n utility company. Mr Fitzgerald could u please send an email or call or come visit to help us make a life changing decision. I speak for three of us who all are stressed out n I personally have health problems which are getting progressively worse. Our campus president says nothing. Our dean just hangs her head n avoids us. If Mr Fitzgerald won't call maybe he should tell our campus president losing a lot of teachers isn't going to make the campus pretty n sound for a sale. Someone reach out. We know we should quit but if there's an inch of hope we actually love our jobs n would want to stay. Waiting by the phone for your call right now

Doubtfire - This is Fitzgerald. I will not be contacting you since you appear to be a typical CCI student that can't read or write. If you are, in fact, an instructor then you are immediately fired for not meeting basic Faculty Expectations to be a role model and write professionally. You are the ultimate cause of students failing out since the funnel begins with you inflating their egos until they get a quality instructor that does not put up with substandard work. Your attrition is looked at by a student's path from your class to a class where there are quality standards in place. I repeat, you are a problem. You demanded answers? You got it. The answer is you are fired.

You are not being rational thinking that Fitzgerald will contact or listen to you, or that CCI cares a hoot that you are such a loyal employee. As the a-hole Kent Jenkins said, instructors are to blame for so many students taking their stipend checks and running. In other words, they don't care about you, your opinion, or what ultimately happens to you!!!! Better go get your butt to see a counselor so that you don't end up like the REAL Mrs. DOUBTFIRE. Mrs Doubtfire - You have written like a moron twice in this thread. No wonder I get students all the time telling me they were allowed to write like a moron and always earned A grades when I tell them to write in proofread English. They learned it from you! The difference is that I don't let them get away with it. They either comply or fail (and the majority argue and continue writing like you in this thread and FAIL). You should be worried about your job since no one will hire you elsewhere.

Hey, you sound like me! Do you work in the Midwest? They stop enrollment, where I am. We can't even have re-enteries and you know how thirsty we are for those. Don't worry. I feel your frustration. It's not going away anytime soon. We will gave to do the best as we can with students. You have to picture the worse, which isn't so bad. Get resume ready and arm your self with better creditials. You may have to face unemployment. Learn to pray!
Mrs. Doubtfire, Fitz probably can't talk to us. For him to say something meaningful would be tantamount to providing information that could lead to insider trading. He's not going to do that. It is VERY sad our leadership is not communicating with us, but it might just be that they too are getting NO info from their superiors.
As for your next move, you need to follow your heart and brain; but seriously why not just start looking for a new job while doing the one you have (in between grading and doing 'outreach' of course :). The investment community usually (not always) get it right. They pretty much see holding CCi stock and VERY risky, hence its trading at prices below the cost of a gumball. Given your situation, do you want live with same degree of risk? Sounds like not. Create some options!
