What's funny is one of the best planners ever at Follett, left us for a promotion at Fanatics. In turn he helped them win a large number of those contracts by showing the schools what Follett couldn't do.
Fanatics does the same thing. The enter agreements with athletic departments at universities. Competition everywhere.
Although old news, these contracts directly hit the bookstore in the high margin clothing department (and the only thing DG cares about).
