Nah. Other companies have been dinged for our style of marketing (see U of P). They know the reins are tightening and have no interest in pushing the envelope and flipping the bird to ED and the states the way CCi does. This company is going to die and good riddance. That goes for CSC as well.

If you don't have anything newsworthy or positive to say in general stop posting here. Many of the professionals who post here would rather you not post here. We don't want to read your BS.
Obviously you are the "trolls" they speak about. CSC is not a term everyone who works for CCI knows, hence the reasoning for asking what the term stands for. If one is going to include abbreviations, please write what it stands for first and than the abbreviated version i.e. Campus Support Center (CSC).
CSC - Campus Support Center in Santa Ana. Where the 55 and 405 meet. Houses IT, Finance, Marketing, HR, and a couple other departments.

Not enough people are enrolling for a company with overhead like CCI. Other private companies would love to have the current customer base CCI currently holds.
Marketing is good a getting Jerry Springer and Maury watchers to tour, as if that has any value to anyone. Even if it does have some value, which I doubt, let's wait until the gainful employment rules are released and review the value.
Two things: 1. Not enough people are touring, and thus, 2. Not enough people are enrolling. The marketing machine only has value if the customer is profitable.
The marketing machine that is CCI is looked upon very highly in the for profit ed Sector. Believe it or not other companies know CCI can get people in schools to tour. They are still getting people in the doors now even with all the bad pub. CCI will continue to perform these services long after the schools are sold off. I'm not saying it's a good thing that these crooks will continue on but it's just a reality. They will of course downsize but even through everything that's going on call center hourly employees who make an average of 18 dollars an hour are being offered daily OT.
It's an interesting concept, but why would they want to keep CSC around when everything else is closing? I know you folks feel special and have your cool lunchroom and all, but honestly...why? Why would they fight for your jobs? What would you be doing/ They've messed up historically in the education industry. They certainly aren't going to find a market for "services" or "consulting" to those schools who know they are better than CCi. Same with Socle. Reputation would sink that. What other industry do they imagine they could succeed in?
As staff, I know exactly what CSC is, but I am not sure that some of the 6 pm faculty know anything about CSC. I could be wrong.
To the person on here asking what is csc you are obviously on here spying and don't even work for CCI. To the person that posted this: cci employees along with everyone else is just being used until the Company shuts down or sells. They are feeding you lies so that you will remain working while they suck the last drop of money they can out of you. Pleas read the article posted on how the execs stand to make money off of the closure of cci.they are using EVERYONE to help generate title 4 funds and Socle income while they divvy up bonuses and kickbacks and raises before the fall. They certainly aren't the ones enrolling students or designing programs to make the enrollment process more efficient. They need you for that, so as longs you believe there is hope they will use you up until they get theirs.

All the newbies in admissions is both a reflection of a larger issue and the reason for much of the current reduction in student population. Sure CCi pays the new admissions reps very little, but is it a value?
Well, they won't worry too much about who sticks around. They'll just keep hiring newbies to replace anyone they don't want to pay a salary for.
