What is a troll? I've seen that reference in many posts, but don't know what it's referring to.

Troll refers to any of your students that live under a bridge......
Also, some of the CCi koolaid-drinkers and apologists call people trolls just because they read something they don't like.
You can look online and the meaning will come up regarding the online version and not the one under the bridge.

What 263 said. It's a good question. Why trolls longer here quietly in the foggy corners like some pervy peeping Tom, I do not know.
Believe it it not, OP, there are freaks on this board who have no connection to CCI. They might be ex students or just losers with nothing better to do. They bully. They're mean. Or they just post stuff that isn't true to try to work everybody up. Like the other day there was a fake 'Heald Sold!' Rumor. That's a troll. They're an invasive species. Much like the ugly fish in lakes and rivers. Why they are here, I do not know. But a lot of the lies and rumors are posted by trolls.
