I was terminated for my outspokenness and outrage for managements underhanded practices in its dealings with students and employees alike. I earned 100K a year but I am so much happier now in my new position. I am on a mission to expose these frauds so that they either radically change or put out of business by the Dept. of Education. You might also contact Aaron Glantz and David Halperin's with information and names of people who are unethical in this shady organization.
I'm sorry that UOP is still as toxic as ever. I left in May and it has been the best decision of my career. However, prior to "getting fired" I had a plan in place 1.5 years prior to my termination. I did not realize just how bad UOP (AND other for-profit predatory "colleges") is regarded in the field where I am currently. I Hope you find your way out Anonymous36541.
I can assure that I do not miss what I had to put people "students and potential students" through to get that 80k pay check. I know you have no clue who is speaking with you... I was either such a big deal or threat that the Pres of Enrollment called me to terminate my employment. Still today I can't decide. This would not surprise me. This place is a toxic f***ing mess. They monitor phone calls like Nazis and harass their EAs if they don't follow 'the script.' No, the person installed in a position like this would need to be someone without a conscience. I nominate ALL Managers and their superiors in manipulation and chicanery. This organization has many little Joseph Goebbels in its ranks.
