When you splatter pictures of yourself all over the internet, it dose not matter whether you listed your employer or not, its 2014...everyone has a computer, students and coworkers are going to run across your profile. I am just embarrassed for him trying to be a rapper at his age. I'd also be embarrassed to show my parents that this guy is a decision maker at the school I want to go to.
This board is all about personal attacks. I've seen a ton of posts putting good people on blast. Saying awful, filthy things about people because others are jealous of their success. This isn't in the same ballpark. When you put yourself out in the public eye like he has, then you should expect it to be seen. But I think it does call to question a lot of character issues. Much more so than calling out senior leadership by name for doing nothing beyond what their job description states. This is absolutely a personal attack. But so what? This board is stupid and filled with lies, rumors and propaganda. EDMC has proven, yet again, that they aren't closing. Another huge training class just started. Some people may be laid off but that happens at every single company. So while you are here reading all the bullshit lies that profiteers like Camden spread, take a moment to laugh out loud at this wannabe rapper. It made my day and I hope it makes yours too!

this is not even this person's personal facebook page, this is a musician facebook page. i work in pittburgh but must not be in the same department as him because i don't know him or know what leadership team he is in. he doesn't have his name on the website because it's a band website... just like all company websites are set up.

I'm sure someone will go ahead and make this even more personal and will put that up here too... which is completely not needed... but what this fb page is, is exactly what it should be, not connected to the company, it doesn't have his name either... so they are not associated and not giving a bad representation. we are NOT student facing in most Pittsburgh offices unless he is a faculty member at the ai campus? but since it said leadership, I'm thinking not?... so not student facing, online students do not have a picture of their advisors or leadership, so no one would know that a facebook page or band amuck was associated with EDMC unless someone went ahead and did something like what this board did...
looks like he started off in a band and from the pictures, bio and progession on fb, the band has made some success. So while some of you think the music sucks and he looks like a fool, you simply have different taste. i don't know him, never met him. when i first went to the page, i heard the song it linked to, thought it was good, went through the page and was impressed with the transformation from what it seemed like he started at and where he is now... and thought wow, that's pretty awesome. He clearly has people that respect his talents outside of work and he has a professional job...
and then i read all the comments on this board and wondered why someone posted this in the first place? you clearly don't like him for whatever reason, manager skill or not... if it wasn't this fb book page, it would be something else you could find.
how about keeping it to who what when and where lays off are happening. when management is involved, how about some real information, instead of an attack on their character?
No one is making the argument about legality. It has to do with professionalism, or lack thereof. That guy looks ridiculous. Like some intern that grew up with Boomer Helicopter Parents. Is that guy in Management on Facebook? Oh boy, you're screwed. What kind of professional? People with respectable jobs like Police, Firefighters and Stockbrokers are actually discouraged from doing that. A friends son just joined the Fire Department and one of the things they asked for was if he had a Facebook page and if so they wanted access to see it. He took it down 2 years before he applied. It brings down the image of the company unless its just purely business oriented like LinkedIn. But then it dose not surprise me, EDMC is not exactly a class act.
What dose it matter? Bitch Please. That's the pot calling the kettle black. Teachers get fired all the time for what they do outside of class even when its not illegal. Are there any EDMC teachers employed that are advocating for legalization of marijuana publicly?, worked in the adult film industry? Anti-religious Activist? Performance Artist? AIDS Activist? Holocaust Deniers? Body Modification enthusiast? Those are all legal things once and do as American but I Guarantee you they would get fired or pushed out for their outside interests.

OMG, LOL. All I can say is that I didn't waste 5 min of my life because I was too busy laughing. This is the future leadership of EDMC, no wonder why they are sinking faster than the Titanic. At least one of the managers has a back-up plan, even if it isn't a very good one. Way to go Macklemore, here's some advice, get an education it would serve you much better.
