There are so many variables right now as you can see from this discussion board, that no one really is clear about what is going to happen. If I were you, I would make sure to have 3 to 5 official transcripts of what I have completed given to me. Now official means that it should be in a sealed envelope that you do not open (or this is how it was given to me back in the day). If you campus does not close but is transferred to the new potential buyer then you have nothing to worry about. However, if the school does close, you simply take your transcripts over to another college (community or otherwise) and begin the enrollment process. If Corinthian closes, you will not be alone and schools will be expecting you, so they will be able to walk you through the process to get back on track with your education. In the meantime, do not stop doing your work or losing focus on your end career goal... there is no point in that and the only one you are hurting is yourself. Hang in there and stay focused on your work.

I hope this helps a bit and as you have read, there are a lot of scared, angry and hurt employees right now that have little to no control over their futures, so please take what is being said in this forum with a grain of salt and know that there are still teachers out there (like my husband and me) who care very deeply for the students and work as hard as possible to give them every opportunity for success. :)

I would also suggest not coming back to this site as it is just upsetting for everyone and I am only here looking for some specific information... :) Best of luck to you and I know you will do great things. :)

It's going to depend on a great many things. Either way, make sure you contact DOE yourself to find out what your options are. (Department of Education)

Take a look at what happened with Athem, for example.
