What is the point of this webinar? Why "mandate" that instructors attend this when we all know that there is most likely going to be students to teach? This is not even considering the fact that this whole Intelligent Heart training is a complete joke that has no merit in the academic or professional work place. But as an adjunct if I have any hope of getting more courses I have to waste an hour of my life on it.

What school do you teach at? Everest Online here and I have taught for 9 years and I've not been told about any Intelligent Heart" training or any other training. Its all about Citrix and Talisma here. Worthless programs. We just get hounded to outreach and pass people by using the harassing outreach as the impetus. Things used to be so good at Everest. They need to reduce the size and start really teaching under another name.
I rejected all invites to that. Fire me.
Intelligent Heart training is proof management does not understand money management.
What I am saying is that this is NOT a good resource. If someone has any experience is the social services field they already know this information and have more up to date information that can be better utilized towards improving academic skills.
Hmmm...so you're saying that you don't think it's a good use of our limited resources? It's hard to think of what could be more valuable to employees, unless they're so spoiled they actually feel that they need security, toner and toilet paper. I guess it just boils down to different priorities, eh?
