I sure as heck wouldn't spend another dime at Everest if I was a student. Lets be honest and real, any classes and degree are worthless at this point. The students are either using the us for funds, or we are using them for funds. The honest good student should run fast and go to a real college if possible, if not pick a solid for profit school, and yes I know they are rare. I can't believe the VA still funds here and the Feds still throw money at Everest. They need to stop and send these students elsewhere. I don't care if I lose my part time adjunct job, I'm tired of the charade.

The government moves too slow and students are getting screwed because of it. Probably can't be helped. The students should have been moved on to other schools when this first broke. The management is just trying to squeeze everything they can before they throw it away. They have exit plans, I guarantee it. I've seen this so many times as I work in business. The students and the low level workers, including adjuncts, will just eventually not get their last check(s). I knew it would go bad when they wanted adjuncts to call for retention and then evaluated you on making the calls. That was guaranteed to piss of adjuncts and then they would voluntarily cooperate with the government and bad mouth the school, then the spiral really deepened. That was the stupidest thing had I seen in a long time. The fallout was inevitable.
38717 Very well said and you're exactly right. I don't understand why it's not just over yet. Why are they allowed to still enroll unknowing students????!!!
@797, you gotta remove those beer goggles first.
Is there anything this person has said that is untrue? Not as far as I can see.
Good for you, do not let the door hit you on the backside on your way out.
