Injustice to our students. The blame goes to management! So they send students into my class that haven't taken the prerequisite classes. So now they're in my class dumbfounded! Very good job of creating this idiocy! Well played, for greed Corinthian Colleges.

Admissions brought a very nice, yet naïve, legally blind young lady to my office, asking if we could accommodate her (per ADA) in the medical assisting program...pass!
Then you should work at a real college.
They don't pay me enough to read a quiz to a student or read a book. I refer those to students services or anywhere. I instruct "college level" students, the rest are wasted time
I had students that were homeless. How do you bill them? Where do send the bill to?
I once had a student who could barely read. Admissions knew she was dyslexic, but told her "don't worry, your teacher will spend lots of extra time helping and tutoring you". I had to basically read the book to her and give her oral exams because she could not read/spell. It makes me sick knowing that poor girl trusted CCI.
Hahaha don't they already have blank expressions? They make admissions take in anybody that can be billed.
Same in my class. I have students that haven't taken the classes necessary to be in my class. But oh yeah Wyotech labels it that any student can go to any class at any time. Tell that to the students that have a blank expression on their faces when homework is handed out.
