Fiction Can Be Fun

While it may be fun for some people to post negative sentiments on this site about the inevitable demise of CCi, the fact of the matter is these sentiments simply aren't true. Sure it can be fun for some to play Chicken Little and spread gloomy gossip, but don't be fooled by it. In October ECMC will sign its letter of intent and the Everest, Socle, and Wyotech brands will begin a new era under new management, and all those who have remained loyal to changing students' lives will be rewarded.

OP, did you read the latest SEC filing on Friday? If the banks do not agree to the DOE's new terms by Sept 25th then Federal Financial Aid Funds will be suspended. If there are no funds, what do you think is going to happen? That is not a joke and it is not fiction. Look up the document and read it for yourself.

39289: i completely agree. given the circumstances and state of the company, people are still buying into the company's lies.

39283: hey dumb@$$, it was a rhetorical question. and also, "cannot" is one word, you dumbf*ck. a miserably failing company that cannot meet payroll is a big indicator that it's time to get the hell out of dodge and there is no company loyalty at this point.

Read the new SEC filing. It only mentions sales of Heald and Everest.

This is the saddest thread...it really is amazing to see how delusional CCI employees are.

There is no company loyalty at this point. In fact, this past week, I have told all my appointments to check elsewhere for school and education, as CCI is NOT the place. The fact of the matter is, CCI lied/withheld information to employees. A company has to be completely honest and up front with the employees. And what company forces employees to take time off with no pay?

Fiction is what happens when employees and customers have been lied to and abused by unethical leadership. If appears that there are plenty of folks willing to contribute a storyline to fill the information gap. Congrats to CCi leadership.

Lying Troll. ECMC is only handling student loan debt collection starting January 2015 when the Dept. of Ed. takes over the teach-out from Corinthian. They're visiting campuses to become familiar with the systems because they're going to assist in the teach-out. The whole reason the DoE is doing all of this is to close the Everest and Wyotech brands. Forever. Sorry if that is too depressing for some people to deal with but that is the reality.
