Terrible School!!
Ashlee Hall - June 23, 2014
Degree: Medical Administrative/Executive Assistant and Medical Secretary
When I first started at the Everest in Chesapeake VA 23320 I was extremely excited. I came to the school and they gave me a tour and when you enter the school there is a board up of some of the people who have gotten jobs after they graduated. I was very impressed at that and that made me more excited about attending because I wanted to be one of those individuals. I aced all my courses and ended the school year with a 4.0 GPA. . I was an ambassador for my high academic scores and also had perfect attendance my whole school year. I'm writing this review on Monday June 23, 2014 and I'm still jobless!!! Even with all of my Great academic achievements Deans list, Presidents list etc. I still have no job. Everest is a terrible school i went several times after i graduated to do mock interviews and to get change around my resume to make it more appealing to employers. I would always have to pop up at the school because my career rep never answered his phone and never returned msgs or calls. BRAD MITCHELL is an example of a bed rep and he needs to be fired!! Every time you call the school you can never get up with this man! And when he did it was only through text msgs no on the phone conversation at all. This school is a job. Now I'm back working a retail job trying to keep up with my monthly student loan every month which i can barely afford to pay. People please take my advice and either go to a community college or go to a university and not Everest University!! A real school where they take pride in helping there students meet there goals of being successful. Have you ever wondered how many of the employers who work at Everest went to a Everest college?? NONE!! they all went to universities and community colleges that are accredited schools!! This Everest student loan is just another bill on top of my other bills! so I basically just dug myself into a deeper hole. $17,000 I HAVE TO PAY BACK!!! The reps schedule your appointments back to back so when you meet with them they are rushing you out of there office so they can meet with the next student. Take my advice and take your money else where please people don't end up like me! Employees look at Everest students as a joke!
Worst experience ever

Save your time your money and your right to a real education do not go to this school. From the moment you call them to inquire about their programs the harassment and mind games begin. Once they have your number they don't stop calling it doesn't matter if you tell them to stop, or say that you changed your mind no excuse or valid reason matters to them they will keep calling until they get you either so mad you change your number or you end up going to a "campus" for one of their tours. What a joke that your will be, let's start with the fact that your going to inquire about an education not buying a car, that's exactly how I felt. The tour consisted of their representative walking me around the small campus and showing me their "state of the art" computerised boards which to me wasn't all that impressive and what reminded me of a car sales person was when she begin to tell me how the rooms are carpeted and have professional office style leather seats and all classrooms are air conditioned, I thought to myself this seemed very odd for a college tour but i remained optimistic. I quickly noticed the women who worked downstairs in their admissions office quite outnumber the amount of men working there in addition to the fact that they all are dressed in a very sexually driven manner , I thought I was going to a college yet to me it appeared to be a strip club almost. The teachers there are unprofessional , you won't learn in these classes or be challenged to learn rather you will be given the bare minimum amount of work with a lot of mindless chatter , movies and games in class. I know some people will say that's awesome less work except what happens then when those students go into the work force unprepared for what lies before them. This school is purely a business they don't care about the students and it's all about making money. While there I seen tons of people come and go including staff. Save your money go to a junior college or anywhere but Everest. Oh and by the way they have a department called career services it's the biggest joke the interviews and job leads they offer come directly from craigslist and monster jobs. They have no job leads or contacts unless your referring to temp agencies which you can do yourself and save yourself the headache of this school.
