We have executives coming to discuss the "state of the business" with us tomorrow...as well as consultants coming to basically watch and see what jobs they can take and offshore for less money. I knew I shouldn't have taken this job when it was offered to me...

Well we are training people from India how to do our jobs.
They (upper management) said no layoffs for 3 months.
Everybody is jumping ship though. Ugh
having consultants onsite does not mean you'll have layoffs, it means nothing
having consultants come in does not mean they will be offshoring things. it all depends who comes in, if you see anyone from accenture run for cover - that's more or less a guaranteed outsourcing play. just saying. good luck buddy
