Heald will no longer exist on its own. Do you remember when we became one OPEID a few years ago? Well all the campuses now have separate OPEIDs again! This is a sign that we cannot find one buyer for all of Heald, but may, I repeat MAY, be able to find buyers for individual campuses. I'd be worried if your campus has taken a major dip in enrollment where it cannot sustain its cost to run. Check out the Newly separated OPEIDS on the IPEDS site: http://nces.ed.gov/ipeds/datacenter/institutionprofile.aspx?unitId=afabb4b3b2af

ECMC is not buying Heald.
583 is correct - last two digits are location code only. Heald has one institutional accreditation covering covering all twelve campuses; the campuses cannot be sold separately without some significant legal and accreditation work
Sorry, but that site indicates that Heald is all one OPEID. Take a look at the first six digits of the OPEIDs, they are all the same. The last two digits indicates the campus number, with 00 being the main one. I didn't click on every single one, but after four were in the same OPEID, I decided this was all crap!
Doesn't apply to everest or wyotech. But it means that after 150 years, they are getting rid of Heald College.

It would be nice if the link actually worked.
Because the ECMC deal does not include Heald
Who cares? Tell us why all of this matters. Is there any implication for Everest and/or WyoTech?
