My campus said they would assign online classes by Monday for the fall term, just curious as to if any adjuncts were assigned ECP Online classes or if enrollment has fallen so low there are not any adjuncts left? I have interviewed at other places but classes have not been assigned at the new institutions and I need the $$ so I am irritated with the lack of communication.

I am FT, and have been given fewer courses this term than last, and all are upper division courses. I did also hear that adjuncts would be receiving fewer courses due to the no new start restrictions.
I think people confuse ECPO and EUO.
I think all adjuncts here are trying to secure another position (I know I am in the process of interviewing) but we always have to keep our options open. It would be pretty good to see "the list" so we know if we are on it or not. Any interest in sharing?
We were told that less adjunct faculty would be given contacts. That our classes would be larger. We were also told that Adjuncts would not be given contracts. Adjuncts are told at the last minute, because we are not sure what classes would fill. A list of low performing Adjuncts were created. They are the ones that for sure will not get classes. Adjuncts it is time for you to secure another job. The writing is on the wall, you should not have to be told.
we got an e-mail last week stating not to ask PL's about course assignents as they don't know.. also courses would be assigned by outreach performance, retintion and then overal e-val in that order.. :) guess i should not look for any courses, outreach blow's and they don't care if you use skype anymore they ony care if you document in almighty talisma...
Typically a 3rd term class would be one that has pre-req classes. Most of the business classes need the intro to business or intro to accounting class. There is no specific class for the third term, usually a class that has intro in the title that's not a 2000 level class would be scheduled durring the 3rd term
@767 this is 672 again. Read the public disclosure on the HLC website ECP. We just got approved to enroll for the 10/13 term recently, but no terms past that date. Right now both ground and online reps are recruiting for EUO instead to continue some sort of revenue. If you don't be live call the ECPO number and ask. 4805986991

Thanks for the info, I teach both intro classes and higher level classes (2000's). Since I am not familiar with what "term" classes are considered could you elaborate? What is considered "3rd term"?
I work admissions for ECP online and we have not been enrolling new starts since the end of June. Right now the only ECP online classes that they would be setting up would be for continuing students. If you teach first term classes like intro to business or computer apps, expect a light load of people that need to retake the class. If you teach 3rd term or later expect some classes
