That's ok for all of you who are left on the life rafts now that the ship is sinking....I hear you will be transferred to a different life raft within 6-8 months. Hate for anyone to actually learn about the area or discipline they are working in! Nah, lets just trade 'em out whenever the wind changes direction! Oh, and sorry all of you poor saps still there. Looks like no multiplier on the bonus for stock price. But, you should have seen that coming. Who ever bought into the "you have an opportunity to make 2x your bonus" line is crazy.... :(

@Anonymous43171: thank you for getting to the true meaning of my original post. I have nothing against the friends and former colleagues I left behind at CHK. I do, however, take issue with the management team there. The Anadarko Boys were in it to turn and burn it in a 2 year timeframe. That was overheard at company functions just over a year ago. As I have recently left and the stock price has tanked, I wonder why anyone ever bought into the company line. The bonus was not looking good in many segments of the company recently. Don't stay too long chasing the dream. They do not have the experience to lead a company like CHK back to the glory days.
In what way is Former Slave bitter towards the employees? Do you disagree that current employees have been lied to at every turn? There was no chance of bonus mulitipliers and there is no long term vision for this company. It's being sold. End of story.
Why are you so bitter toward current CHK employees? Is everyone to blame for you getting screwed? I think everyone working at Chk's main goal is to support themselves and their families. Why you would want to slam people for that is beyond me. Good luck at your new job. Hope you're not wasting their money by hanging around this forum all day.
