That's very sad to me. I'm debating 2 job offers now. In 5 months, if you wait, there probably won't be severances. And you'll be competing with jobs with friends and colleagues. 12,000 people looking for the same few jobs. I'm not letting shithead managers who are either looking themselves or getting bonuses to stay until the end to decide my future. Good luck to those of you who do. And realize they will say anything to keep you - until they no longer need you.

I think the criminal investigation will go away, students will come back and we will all get raises! Puppies and rainbows!!
I feel bad for FT instructors. Those jobs just don't exist readily, even at other for profit schools. They offered me a chance to work FT. I turned it down. There was NO way I could work that much Outreach and do so little teaching.
There will be hundreds of online instructors competing for the same jobs. And in many cases, it's slim pickings in some fields now. It'll only get worse. I'm hoping one advantage for me is that I only teach at one college at a time. They don't want to hire someone teaching 6/7 classes somewhere else. You can't do a great job working so many classes. Just not possible.
"12,000 people looking for the same few jobs." Some of us are in urban areas that can quickly absorb the relatively small impact. Those Wyotech employees in Blairsville or Laramie, what else is there in that area?
Employees. God I hate autocorrect as much as this shit job with CCI. Sorry.
