Why is the monitor not allowing severance?

Doesn't sound like he's "monitoring," but instead he's punishing the employees. Are all for-profits prohibited from paying severance? Does accepting Title IV funds mean

that your college no longer pays severance? Sounds like a harsh standard arbitrarily applied.

Severance is not a requirement for any company to pay out. They probably are not because there is no money.

CCi hasn't paid severance for almost a year now. The reason is because they are broke. They are in short term saving mode not long term saving mode. Wouldn't make sense to layoff someone to save money then give them a severance package.
